New Meta-Study Provides Evidence That Probiotics Can Treat Halitosis

Probiotics, "good" bacteria that are most often used to treat gastrointestinal illnesses like IBS and Crohn's, have also been found to be useful in the treatment of halitosis. A new meta-study published in the International Journal of Contemporary Dentistry looked at 30 years worth of halitosis studies using probiotics, and found that most of them have concluded that it is an effective treatment.
